Hi,
$770 is an average rent for 1 bdr., but is depends on the square footage, it varies... it could be $550 and it could be $1200....
I have a cousin there.
Have you been to Edmonton before?

$1200 for 1 bdr. seems like a lot to me for Edmonton. You can rent a nice 2 bdr. apartment in a good neighbourhood in Toronto in that range, or a little over that.

$1200 would be on the expensive side for a 1 bedroom. Although Edmonton's housing market is currently going nowhere but up, it is not nearly what places like Toronto or Vancouver are at. I would expect about $800 a month for a decent place.

Is that for 1 or 2 bedroom apartment? What about utilities are they included in the rent or you have to pay them on top of it?

Thank you all for your inputs. I guess $800 is a decent rent.
