Payroll / Revenue Property Accountant

The 500 Staffing Inc. proudly represents one of Vancouver’s top Real Estate development companies located in Downtown Vancouver. Our client is seeking a Payroll / Revenue Property Accountant. We are searching for an individual that would like to work for a well-known, well-established Real Estate Development firm.


Duties to be performed include but not limited to the following:

Payroll
· Process payroll of around 120 employees through Ceridian Power Pay
· Record and allocate payroll to various properties and projects
· Process WCB remittances
· Issue ROE, T4s tax receipts and T5s
· Maintain all employee personnel files
· Process and administer invoices for group benefit plans
· Handle all inquires and matters regarding payroll and benefits

Commercial/Residential Property Accounting
· Process accounts payable
· Process and prepare accounts receivable
· Prepare AR reports
· Administer demand defaults
· Prepare and administer rental advise notice (e.g. rent increase notice, demand default)
· Prepare annual commercial recoveries
· Administer tenant files and security deposit
· Maintain rent rolls
· Prepare statement of losses/vacancies loss
· Participate in the process of budgets and forecasts and input data in accounting system
· Set up new properties in accounting system
· Update and change tenant information
· Perform move out / closing procedures
· Administer Pre-Authorized Payment for commercial tenants

Additional Duties
· Bank reconciliations
· Prepare monthly GST returns
· Reconcile GL account if necessary
· Prepare year-end entries
· Perform all other duties as assigned


PLEASE NOTE: We are seeking individuals that have experience in both areas of payroll and property management accounting.
We are searching for a dynamic, outgoing, self-starter, and reliable individual. Being in the CGA program is an asset.
