I’m a graduate of Bachelor of Information Technologies, and applied the degree in a company here in Brazil. I have some entrance IT Certifications to, like MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) at Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP. I'm in Brazil right now, but, my wish is to temporary work, or even, imigrate to Toronto, but, I'm a litle afraid that there isn't any need for this kind of professional there.

Does anybody know how is the IT cenario in Toronto? I would realy apreciate any hints about it... or any company that may have some interest on hiring graduated personal, w/ some certifications from Microsoft? Lot of disposal to work hard as network administrator (my top domain), or anything else.

OBS1: Sorry about that bad english above... I'm working on it!!!
:p
OBS2: Thats my first thread, and, I'm not a big user of this forum. So, if any of you guys could reply to me by email I would be very thankfull!!
OBS3: gustavo.hrc(at)gmail.com!!! See ya!!!

There certainly is a demand for IT specialists in Canada. You can check monster.ca and workopolis.com to see the current job postings. Also I would suggest contacting employment agencies (http://www.jobagencies.ca/index.asp?p=1&sp=1)with suitable job offers. Are you in Brazil right now and do you have a work permit or a skilled worker visa?

Hi Gustavo.

Yes, there are numerous opportunities in Canada for skilled IT resources. I am a recruiter with SkillSearch Recruiting and match foreign and domestic candidates with jobs in Atlantic Canada. If you are not completely sold on moving to Toronto, then I would enjoy working with you to find a placement in Atlantic Canada.

Cheers,

Dale Dunphy
