Our client a Audit & Assurance practice helps clients manage risk so they can focus on their core businesses. Our primary objective is to obtain the information necessary to improve client efficiency and performance.
Reporting: Partners & Managers in the Audit & Assurance Team.
Main Duties: Proofreaders provide technical support to more senior team members in the areas of quality control and file assembly.

Essential Functions
• Ability to manage concurrent assignments.
• Proofread Financial Statements and correspondence with clients.
• Verify mathematical accuracy of Financial Statements.
• Manage concurrent assignments.
• Work with the file assembly team to ensure all deadlines are met.
• Look for inefficiencies in processes and procedures and ensure timely disbursement on all files.
• Brings any discrepancies/problems that arise which may affect workflow to the attention of the Manager/Partner, along with suggestions to resolve the situation(s).
• Provide problem-solving abilities in order to troubleshoot daily problems/questions as they arise.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Knowlege of the following software are an asset:
o Profile, Caseware,Caseview, MS Excel, MS Word, T4/T4A/T5, T1, T3
Education:
• Completion of college is required.
• Previous clerical or administrative experience may be required
