Need Advice

Hello - I am looking to go and work in Canada for 12 months - Please can someone tell me if i can go over there and find a job or do i need to get a job sorted from here (u.k)? Also what happens to Visa and what do i need to say when im going through customs?

Would you know how long the process is? Am i allowed to go there and just look for a job or is that not really an option? I would like to know the fastest way of getting over there and furthering my career out there?

Hi, you can come as a tourist, I don't think you need a visa for that and if I am not mistaken you can stay up to 6 months. After that you have to apply for a visa as temporary resident. You can look for a job but you need a work permit to work here. If an employer is willing to sponsor you you can apply for work permit. Why don’t you check CIC web site for more info on the subject and call them. They can give you more accurate info.:
