The Follow up letter

The Follow up letter, or Thank you note is the next very important step after the interview. Call you recruiter and tell him what you think about the company and the interview. Write a Follow up letter to the interviewer and thank him for his time. If they have any doubts about you this “thank you letter” will strengthen their opinion that you are the right person for the position they are hiring. The Follow up letter is as important as the Cover letter, so think twice.
Follow up letters are typically one page documents.

Yes, this is important!

I have never written a thank you letter, but I do follow up 3 or 4 days later depending on the job.

I will actually thank them in this letter and again promote that I am very interested in the position.
