would like to work in canada but live in uk

hi all only just joined this site while looking on the net ive lived in uk for 28 years and feel like trying something different ive allways done bar work and would like to do this work in canada but what would i need to do and how do i do it this is all new to me and havnt a clue what to do so could someone please help me and is bar experience enouf to be able to work out there as thats all ive ever done :)
