Check out this eBook on interview dressing etiquette.

It has some very nice guidelines for getting a "professional look". A lot more thorough than just "wear a suit and tie" or "don't wear ripped or dirty clothes". It really goes in to what kind of suits, shirts and accessories to wear, depending on the kind of job. Illustrated with pictures. Very thorough.

That’s very helpful web site. It is very important what you wear because this is the first impression you give when you greet the interviewer. But don't forget, you must have positive attitude, always smile and make eye contact!

Thanks Ideering.
I always have problems figuring out what to wear.
I dont have a large array of clothes, so I generally wear the same thing to every interview..

For a job interview you can't go wrong wearing something conservative. A job interview is your only chance to instil trust in the employer and leave a positive impression, and you better don’t waste it.

You hit the nail on the head there!

Even if you buy just one suit or outfit and use it at every interview, its worth it!

First impressions count, and clothing is the first thing they will notice about you.
