What's up! I'm about to graduate this semester in Computer Science in Detroit, MI. Currently in F-1 student status, I've been researching for over 6
months in how to get permanent resident status in Canada. I have no work experience in my field of study.
I've been reading a lot at those provincial nominee
programs mostly in Alberta and Manitoba, and to tell
the truth I find it hard in aquiring proper proof of
needed documents in order to be considered for these
province. Lack of relatives in canada makes it even
harder.

Some advice would be great.

ciao

You can apply for a skilled worker visa. It takes longer but you are not stuck in one province. You can go anywhere you please in Canada.

Are you saing that If I get nominated by a province(let say Alberta) I have to stay there forever because I got permanent residence thru them?

Can't I just work there for a year and then if I find a better job in another province move out from alberta???????

If you immigrate through PNP you must live in the province for a couple of years. For more info check: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/index.asp
