I think of relocating to Vancouver. It is rated 3-rd best cities in the world to live in. Any good recruiting agencies there? Any ideas?

You can take some time to do a search online. But the best way is to land there and really do your search on the spot. The chance of getting a good position is higher.

I live in Toronto now and I thought I can do some research before I move to BC. Not so much job opportunities in Vancouver comparing to Toronto though . . .

Hi Lana,

I don't think there is big difference in the job search strategy between Vancouver and Toronto. Same big agencies have offices there. I am happy to learn that Vancouver was rated so high in that survey, but if you are considering moving why don't you move to Alberta? In the past years a lot of companies moved their offices from BC to Alberta (Calgary and Edmonton).

I would start my job search after I've moved there, if I were you.

This is because a lot of big companies moved their offices to Alberta. I too would start my job hunt after I move. Most of the times personal contact is better than telephone and email.
