I was told to always be carefull when you email your resume, because it could end up in the recipients spam folder & youll never know if they recieved the resume.

IE: watch out what you write in the subject field, because their software might filter out your resume & send it to thier spam folder.

Can someone please explain to me or post some links to tips on how to avoid the spam folder.

Thank you

You have to send your resume to people you spoke to so they will know to expect your email. Call the recruiters and then email them your resume. This way it will not get lost...

Request a read receipt on your e-mail so you know when, and if, they opened the e-mail.
If after a couple of days you do not receive a receipt then send a basic e-mail expressing your concern.

Make the subject and title of the email seem personal so that the recipient is more likely to open it or read the content.
