My parents left Canada with me in tow in 1964. Ive been back a few times for Holidays but now think maybe its time I came home.
The thing is I dont realy no where to start, will the Mrs and my two twentysomething boys be able to come with me initially? Indeed will I have to pass some sort of criteria having been residing in the UK for over 40 years?

Anyone point me in the right direction? thanks

Hi, first of all do you have Canadian citizenship?

If not you may qualify for skilled immigration visa: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp

You can also consult with an immigration lawyer to find out what will be the best way to come to Canada.

Hi, if you are a Canadian citizen you can sponsor your family to come to Canada with you. You have to apply to Canada Citizenship and Immigration but the process can be lengthy, probably a year. You have to double check that because it is different for the different countries.

Take a look at this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/index.asp

You can call CIC Canada for further info.

Thanks I'll look into it.
It seems things havn't changed much from when I first got married in 1980 when the high commission in London said I would have to go over and set things up before the good Lady could join me. But I'll give it another go.
