Has anyone been on a fantastic vacation recently?

My girlfriend and I want to go on a fantastic trip soon. We were looking for ideas. Anyone have any great spots? A way to save some cash would be nice too. Vacationing is expensive these days.

Have you ever considered a cruise?? Carnival is very reasonable and a ton of fun. My hubby and I were on our 3rd one this past spring and had a great time. I tend to book though redtag.ca though, the prices are a bit lower then on carnivals actual site.
