medical school in canada

Hello, my name is Orlando and I currently live in the USA.
I am currently in college and was wondering if I can be accepted to a Canadian medical school. I really want to move to Canada after I graduate from college but I am worried that I might not be granted citizenship or be eligible for acceptance to a medical school because I am not Canadian. My question is...can I (as an american) be admitted to a Canadian Medical School, and then apply for Canadian citizenship after i am accepted to a school?
