Hello there,

Could somebody please help me with my query?
Me and my boyfriend, we would like to go to marry now and apply for the Permanent residential status. I need to know if we must be marry at least one year because we would like to apply together at one application and there will be a principal applicant one of us. We are living together two years, but we haven't any confirmation about this.

There is no such requirement. you can apply even if you are not married but have a common law partner and still one of you will be the principal applicant.
