how to move to Canada

Hi guys and girls. Like most of you once I am new to this forum. can anybody tell me how a couple and a new born child can move to canada to start a better quality of life, I know but dont understand America will not take descent hard working english speaking folk from the UK but would rather take people who dont speak english at all from everywhere other than the UK but is Canada the same. A friend of mine who lives in Canada said it can be possible if a company sponssors you? is that right and if so where can i ask these companies

Well, there are 2 ways to come to Canada - with a work permit- meaning that you have to find a job and apply for work permit and to immigrate as a skilled worker (http://www.jobagencies.ca/index.asp?p=22). You can also apply for the Provincial Nomination Immigration Program.
You can look for job at the major job banks like workopolis.com (http://www.workopolis.com)and monster.ca (http://monster.ca/)
