Hi,

Since the Federal Skilled Worker Program has narrowed the class 0, A and B eligible skills to apply for PR, my only clear chance for PR is via the self employed option.

I have classified my self under this option eligibility critieria and have the evidence to back up my claim, starting from the fact that I have 5 years of experience as a self employed professional and within the scope of titles and duties set out for this specific option.

However, one thing is what I believe and other thing are the actual facts whan applying under this option.

I beg for someone to share with me some key advice on what to expect, waiting period, hiden facts of criteria application, do's and dont's or any other suggestion to upgrade my chances or simply to avoid applying all together.

Thank you in advance

For more information check this Immigration Section (http://www.jobagencies.ca/index.asp?p=20)or go to the CIC web site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.asp

As far as I know the waiting time for skilled worker immigration is at least 2 years. When are you thinking of applying?

Depending on the location of the immigration office you apply with, the process may take from 6 months to well over 2 years.
