We (me, my wife and daughter) got the Canadian Immigration in 2006 from CHC Islamabad (Pakistan).we had to land before 7 March 2007. Only I went to Canada (for 20 Days then came back) before the expiry date and got the PR card but my wife and daughter didn’t visited Canada and there Immigration/Visa is expired, because we were not sure at that time whether we are really going to settle there or not.
Now we want to Move permanently to Canada.
I want to know that if immigration status of my wife and daughter be reinstated or we have to re-apply the Application from scratch?

If it is to be re-applied is it advisable that I first move to Canada and submit the new application there or we should apply it in CHC Islamabad?

I am no specialist in the immigration but I think it will be best for you to come to Canada and reapply to sponsor your family. I think it will be faster that way. To be absolutely sure consult with immigration lawyer or call CIC Canada. They probably have toll free number on their web site.

Thanx a lot for your feed back on this.
atleast now i understand, what should be the right channel to move in.
Will you please let me know roughly how much time it will take to get the immigration/Visa for them after filing sponsorship from Canada.

You have to check on that because it depends where you filed your sponsorship application - depends on how busy they are - it can take from 6 months to one year I think...
