Yearbook Green Theme Ideas? environment related?

This year I have to think of a theme for next years yearbook. Part of an application to be an editor in my college. With my theme, I also have to create three yearbook spreads on indesign cs2 and an opening page and division page.

So I have come up with a "Green Theme" because green(environment stuff) is something that America is now paying more attention to... And it happens to be the class of 09' senior color.

Does anyone have any ideas?
Some ideas I have are:
-a folio page number design with the recycle logo and the number in the center
-maybe some type of thing relating to the different types of recyclable plastic or different alternate fuel sources: e85, electric, hydrogen... mostly their logos made by GM

It'll be my second year as an editor and I'm hoping to really wow the class and take the editor in chief position.

I like the page number Idea it fits the theme really well. Are their projects launched on how your school can reduce its carbon foot print? Maybe you can put that in part of your theme?
