Transportation Manager

Our customer, one of the Top 50 Employers located in Vancouver is seeking a Transportation Manager to join their team. Previous experience working in a high volume delivery operation or related experience a must. Strong organizational, troubleshooting and planning skills a must along with an ability to manage multiple priorities. The successful candidate must have excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills along with previous management and team building skills. Responsibilities include; providing direction to drivers and staff; develop and refine procedures and processes for all transportation personnel; tracking and managing efficiency of the transportation department; resolving customer service issues; assigning, scheduling of drivers and staff; performance appraisals and adminstration of company policies.
