Our customer located in New Westminister, who manufactures and distributes their own products have an immediate need for a Production Machinist/Journeyman to join their team. Your responsibilities will include setup, operation and general improvement of CNC machinery. Previous experience in the operation and set up of CNC lathes and milling centers specifically Hitachi, Puma, Mazak, Fadal, Mitsui etc. and with Gibbs programming skills are a must, fixture and jaw design experience would be an asset. If your are self-motivated, have a positive attitude, with solid problem solving skills and are able to work in a fast paced work environment and display a willingness and aptitude for learning and gaining on the job experience this is a great opportunity!
