Contract termination

Hi, I was wondering if it is wise to terminate a contract before the end of it. I found a longer and better paid contract but still have 1 month to go with my old one. I have to give 2-week notice but my recruiter said it is not professional to terminate it. I think she said that because she has to find very quickly new contractor to fill in.

Any comments will be appreciated.

I don’t see why not. You can terminate your contract whenever you want. It’s the same for the both sides.
