Service vs Manifacturing Industry
In January the employment increased by roughly 89,000 jobs. Most of the jobs were in the service sector. Gains in the manufacturing employment are seen only in Manitoba and Alberta.
The main reason is growth in the following industries: information, recreation, culture, professional, technical, scientific services, food and accommodation, natural resources. So not a bad start of the year for Canada! |
Yes not bad at all. I am just wondering why the gain is mostly in the service industry...

Canada has a lot of natural resources and no wonder the manufacturing industry is booming in Alberta and Manitoba. :D

Re:Service vs Manifacturing Industry
Well friend, for every organizations the supply chain is a strategic business area. And this is among all the big industries, even in maximum high-tech industry, which pioneered the use of distributed manufacturing, around-sourcing and third party logistics. So don’t worry about the future.
