technical writer job prospects

Hi,

I'm a technical writer with 5 years of experience in the IT industry. I live in India. I'm looking for a middle/senior level opening in Canada. In addition to technical writing, I manage a Testing team for all our internal s/w projects. I have good working knowledge in QTP and SilkTest. My educational Qualification : B.Sc (Mathematics) , A.M.I.E (Electronics & Telecommunication Engg).

Hi, do you have a work permit?

No.

Since it takes around 5 years to obtain Permanent Residence Status, I am looking for a prospective employer who can sponsor my visa.

Hi, have you considered applying for skilled worker visa and meanwhile looking for a job in Canada? If you find a job this will speed up your application.

Finding a job is my priority, since 5 years is too long a time.
