Technical Skills

These days you have to be more that just a technical expert. Having tech skills is not enough to get you the perfect job and the employers are looking for people with problem solving skills, analyzing skills and communication skills. In other words - good communication and customer care are factors that the employers more and more consider these days.

For all the job seekers out there, keep that in mind and complete some Communication skills course. This can improve your chances to get noticed!

Great advice! I guess it is even more relevant for us newcomers.
Are there courses expensive?

I can't give you a number but usually they are one day courses and they should be around $200-$300.

Yes, focussing on one skill is great, but you also need "sub skills"
Things like business, communication and even accounts can give you a great edge over other applicants.
