I have a question....
I just went through two interviews with a rather large company (over 28 000 employees). After the second interview I was called to proceed with the second phase which was providing references and passing a medical exam. It has been one week since I've passed the medical exam and I have not yet received any news so I was wondering what the normal waiting time is to get either a positive or negative answer from the company? Is it true that normally the medical exam is only a formality and it most likely means that I have the job? Also, should I follow up by email to let the company know that I am still very interested in the position? |
You should definitely follow up. It shows that you are interested in the job and if they are interested in hiring you this will speed up the process.

I totally agree, you need to follow up. Large companies want to see candidates who are serious about wanting the job.
