Try the faster way

Why don't you just try and apply direct to a company and not worry about the agency. It is faster that way (see tips at -nowgetthatjob.com where I learnt to go direct to a company).

If you don't get to Canada, you could try Australia (visit getthatjob.com.au and send them an email, they have lots of contacts for immigration to Australia.
