Hi, I have an upcoming first job interview. I live in Montreal, Quebec. Most of Quebec is French-speaking. I am OK (but week) in French, but I don't know if the interview will be in French or not. I listed Engish as my first language on my CV. So I don't know what to expect.
Can anyone from or knows about Quebec help me out here?
Thanks.
Most of the people in Montreal are bilingual and if you have listed English as your first language the interview most likely will be in English. Was you Resume written in English or was it in French?
If the job interview calls for "native or near-native fluency in French," and you don't have it, then you should not waste your time; you won't get the job.
