Default Manager, Human Resources

This $US180 million joint-venture company is wholly owned by two of the industry's largest suppliers and produces well-known and trusted consumer and industrial brands, which are sold throughout North America.

The Manager, Human Resources, is accountable for producing measurable results as a strategic business partner supporting the Company's business goals through effective people processes. The incumbent must ensure excellent employee relations and management support, and takes the lead role in the execution of HR strategic plans. This position requires strong leadership skills, teamwork, strategic and execution planning skills, analytical, administrative, presentation and coaching skills.

A priority focus is to improve Company performance through employees. Hence, increased people productivity requires the incumbent to work closely, as both a consultant and coach, with the Plant Manager, as well as all other employees.

Candidates must possess 7, or more, years of progressive experience in human resources, with at least the last 3 years in managerial positions, preferably for a medium to large-sized public or, private corporation, within a sophisticated manufacturing environment. Education will include a university degree or college diploma, or alternatively, commensurate experience, ideally, with a professional designation, such as a CHRP.
