Default Move or wait to see

Hi,

I work in the telecom industry (technical sales), and I just got the federal skilled worker visa.

I would like to move to Canada, but I'm worry that this year could be harder to find a job compared to other years, due to the world financial crisis.

Since I still have a job in my home country, one option that I'm considering is to apply the PR card and then return to my country until the conditions to find job in Canada start to be more favorable.

In your opinion, does this decision make sense?
Are the market conditions in Canada so weak this year to make this option very reasonable?

Thanks

In my opinion it will be better to wait for a couple of years. The job market is not so strong at the moment and probably will get worse. So the best thing to do is to land in Canada and then return to your home country until this crisis is over. You have 3 years to come back after the day you land in Canada - you will not lose your status as a landed immigrant for 3 years.
You may find a job quickly but it depends on many things - your skills, education, communication skills... ect.
