I really hate it and do not know how to go about quitting it. I have never temped before and have only been there 1 week. Thank you for any help.

What are the terms of your contract? Usually you give 2 weeks notice if you want to leave your job.

I don't beleive I had one. It was for 1 or 2 months. The only things I signed were for a card key, a confidentiality clause and that I had no appointments.

I quit this morning. Really couldn't go back. This quit went against everything I have ever stood for, but I feel so much better now, you can't imagine.

I guess we'll see if there is a cheque for me on Friday or not!

Are you going to look for a new job now? Are you a student?

Yes, I am looking. I have sent my resume to 2 places so far. No, I am not a student. I am a 35 year old woman, who was working 3 part time jobs and decided that 1 full time job was the way to go. Two of the previous jobs required commitment for a year, therefore I gave them up at the end of the "contract". The other one was a day/ night job that was very dead end.

I have probably not made the greatest choices, but we have to lay in the beds we make, right?

How about you, are you employed?
