finding a marketing job in canada

I recently have got permanent resident status in canada and currently working for a french news agency as marketing manager for pakistan and afghanistan markets. I did my mba in marketing from pakistan and also did my masters in bichemistry from pakistan. I am doing very good here in Pakistan in my current job.i Want to continue my carrer in marketing. My question is that how current global financial crisis is affecting canada job market and what are my chances of getting good job in canada and also what is the best time to move there as i am planning to move there in June.

Right now the Canadian job market is doing better than US but lots of companies started lay offs and in my opinion next year will be even worse.
