Default Do I need to follow up

Hi, I’ve been to a job interview, and I think it went really well. I like the company and the people and I think they liked me as well. Do I need to follow up with my recruiter or with the interviewer?

ASAP! Call your recruiter and write follow up letter to the interviewer! It’s very important to show them you liked them and tell them what you think of the company!

I did follow up with an email to the employer, but I haven't heard from them yet .

How long does it take for the employer to get a final decision, if they are going to hire me or not? In case they don't want to hire me for this position, are they going to call me and let me know?

Maybe I'm a little impatient, but I really want to start there.

Thanks,
Simon

It can sometimes take weeks for them to make a decision, dont worry!

By following up you have showed you are extra interested over those who didnt follow up, and its likely they will put you on the short list, if you did well in the interview.
